I call this piece Sawtooth Tote because it brings together something deeply personal and something timeless.
This tote was pieced using the classic sawtooth star quilt block—my daughter’s favorite. I originally made it as part of her grad gift, pulling together nearly every blue star design from my pattern collection. It felt like a quiet way to mark a moment—something made by hand, built from pieces that already held meaning.
Each tote is made slowly and with intention. I hand-cut every piece, machine piece the patchwork for strength, and quilt it to create that soft, structured feel that only gets better with use.
It’s a true labor of love with a nod to traditional quilting—made to be carried, gifted, and lived with every day.
