I’m Kim, a quilter, natural dyer, and cabin-dweller in northern BC.

Tucked away in an old cabin in northern BC, Exshaw Quilts began with a handful of scraps, a few jars of natural dye, and a longing for something slower.

I’m Kim—quilter, quiet maker, and lover of old things made new again. My quilts are rooted in tradition but made for real life—easy to begin, meaningful to make, and stitched with intention.

Each indigo quilt holds the rhythm of slow days—dyed by hand, stitched by feel, and softened by time. No two are the same, but all carry the calm of something made the long way.
