Migration Throw Quilt
Truly a labour of love, this hand quilted throw took weeks to complete; from meticulous piecing to hand quilting and hand binding it all together. I used a traditional quilt block called the flying geese and half square triangles to complete Migration’s design. It’s made with only sustainable, high quality cotton— top, back, batting and thread.
MEASUREMENTS
SIZE: approx. 62” wide x 65.5” long. OOAK, this quilt design will not be recreated.
MATERIALS
Top, back and binding all feature 100% premium cotton quilting fabric. The batting is 100% unbleached premium cotton made in the USA. Featured colors are black, dark espresso brown, sienna brown and off white.
PROCESS
This quilt is machine pieced and quilted entirely by hand. The binding features a gorgeous “x” hand stitched pattern in white. Completed entirely in house by artist Kimberly Exshaw. All sales final. I do not accept returns or exchanges.
CARE
Machine wash delicate in cold water with a gentle detergent. Tumble dry low or preferably hang to dry. Fabric will crinkle slightly after the first wash and will soften with use.
