Black Bear Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern
I’ve been obsessed with Bear Paw blocks since I first started quilting—you’ll find them (and little nods to them) scattered throughout several of my designs. There’s just something timeless about their symmetry and strength. I knew I wanted a way to enjoy that motif every day here in the cabin, so I designed this small wall hanging as a quiet tribute to one of my all-time favorite blocks.
The Black Bear Wall Hanging is a cozy, intermediate project that highlights bold contrast and traditional geometry. It’s satisfying to piece, meditative to quilt, and perfectly sized to bring a bit of handmade warmth to your wall, nook, or entryway. I’ve included instructions for an optional hanging sleeve as well.
